Sean Shetler is a Veteran Advocate, Seminary Student, Public Speaker, Artist, Photographer, Story Teller, Community Leader, Information Technology Specialist, Human Resources Specialist, and a U.S. Army Veteran.
Sean currently serving a term as a Service Officer for the American Legion Travis Post 76 and assists veterans and transitioning service members. Sean volunteers his time and assistance for free to help the community and veterans who have honorably served. Sean Shetler served 5 years on Active Duty in the U.S. Army as a Human Intelligence Collector (35M).
Sean deployed to Iraq on two separate occasions for a total of 26 months. Sean is the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal for exceptional meritorious achievement as an Interrogator for a Joint Task Force in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sean has completed federal training and continuing education from the U.S. Department of Labor (National Veterans Training Institute) and U.S. National American Legion on the following: 4 Pillars of the American Legion, Veterans Benefits, Managing Case Management, Resume Writing Support, Critical Thinking in Business Writing, and Removing the Employability Gap for Veterans with Significant Barriers to Employment.
